San Diego’s food scene is worthy of regular celebration, so we threw a party at Leila in North Park, where the night sky shines round-the-clock. Eighty-eight of our favorite and most stellar food friends showed up. Here’s the proof in photos.
“This gathering, this moment—it was really something unforgettable,” says Accursio Lota of Trattoria Cori Pastificio. “I looked around the room and I said to myself, ‘Ecco! This is what culture looks like.’ These are the things that stay with you—not only the photos, but the feeling. You catch it, like catching light in a bottle.”
